St. Lenox @ 2012 NYC Winter Anti-Folk Festival, and other news.

I haven’t posted in a while, but there is a lot of stuff going on. This week, Feb. 22nd, I will be performing at the NYC Winer Anti-Folk Festival. Should be a nice turnout, and some good songwriters (and poets) that night. I go on at 7:40, but there are other good acts going on that night as well, so show up early and stay late.

I have a song, “Cleveland Avenue”, that will receive a bit of radio play on CD101.1 in Columbus. It will also (if picked among the top 10-12 songs out of 29 chosen), be put on a CD celebrating the bicentennial of Columbus. The whole shebang is part of a general promotional push for the bicentennial of Columbus.

1-month Residency at the National Underground

Mondays from 6-7pm at the National Underground, starting Oct. 31st, ending Nov. 28th.
I’ll be performing some standard sets of my material. I might use an hour for a re-showing of my cover of Bonnie Raitt’s album “Luck of the Draw”. Or an hour for rehashing of some jazz standards. We’ll see.

A feature spot at Mic Club – the Open Mic at Lucky Jack’s. I’ll be performing at 10:30, but the open mic signup begins at 7:30 if you want to perform.
